Maintaining consistent and nourishing self-care becomes that much more difficult when we have babies and children to care for because we naturally put our kids needs above our own. Life becomes rich and meaningful as we navigate motherhood but the days and nights can seem endlessly long while we struggle to find a minute for ourselves. Parenting can bring a personal challenge and intensity that outweighs any we have known before.
There isn't one right way to parent successfully but your capacity to clearly communicate, listen well and love deeply is dependent on you having an inner and outer environment that nourishes you. When you are connected and compassionate with yourself these things will be easily shared with your family.
One thing we can depend on as parents is constant change. Our ability to move through and guide these changes peacefully makes all the difference. The goal is for you to have realistic, applicable ways to reconnect with yourself and include self-care even with potential chaos around you.
Whether I am supporting you with maternity reflexology, health coaching, postpartum care or infant massage instruction we'll be looking for ways for you to include daily self-care as an essential part of caring for your family. It's what you do for yourself between sessions that brings about lasting change, balance and wellness.
